Steven Arthur "Artie" Long, Jr., born October 11, 1967 is an American actor, comedian, radio personality and author. Lange is best known for replacing Jackie Martling on The Howard Stern Show, and for being an original cast member of the sketch comedy series MADtv.
Lange was born in Livingston Township, New Jersey and raised in Union Township. His mother, Judy worked as a secretary, while his father, Arthur Sr, was a general contractor. His sister Stacy is a fashion designer.
6,July 2011, Lange turned to the radio for the first time since December 2009, guest hosts Tony Bruno Show on Fox Sports Radio with other comic Nick Dipaolo. During the show, asked a caller Far to return to the Howard Stern Show, Lange replied, "It would be the largest ever, but when you listen, I was on the biggest show of all time about nine years and I put them in a very difficult situation to say the least."
His favorite book is a confederacy of Dunces. He believes George Carlin to be the greatest comedian of all time and said, "It is easy to follow the funniest guy ever" when he appeared for Carlin as a guest during his first talk show appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.
